Back to the Roots: Ethiopia & Kenya
Bridging Canada and Africa for a Shared Future Through Commerce, Culture, and Community
January 5, 2025
The Afrodescendant Leadership Alliance (ALA) is thrilled to present the Back to the Roots travel initiative, a unique 12-day program from January 7 to January 18, 2025. This trip is designed to connect Canadian entrepreneurs and professionals with Africa's abundant economic opportunities and introduce them to a dynamic landscape of economic innovation and growth.
This iteration of the 12-day program includes four days in Ethiopia and eight days in Kenya. Participants will have meaningful opportunities to engage with industry leaders across various sectors while immersing themselves in authentic African culture. Through networking, cultural exploration, and professional development, attendees will acquire valuable insights and experiences that can lead to future collaborations.
This initiative aims to bridge economic divides and foster business opportunities between Canada and the African continent. It encourages authentic connections and shared experiences, allowing members to embark on a transformative journey of learning, exploration, and impactful collaboration.
Back to the Roots is more than a journey to Africa—it’s a significant step toward strengthening global trade relations and fostering global progress. It stands as a powerful testament to the impact of partnership in building a brighter, more unified future.
Stay tuned for more exciting updates about the trip!
